My first attempt at making soy candles - wonderful for the environment and a joy to make!! A touch of a pink colour chip created this soft pastel effect, and I used Victorian Rose fragrance which is devine.
Every time I pass them by, I get a waft of their delightful scent. The light pink wax really suits the pink and blue mosaic container, and this candle will last/burn for approximately 36 hours!!

Well done, so glad you have joined the blogging world, you will love it, it is so interesting meeting like minded people in far flung parts of the world and you know what we aren't all that much different to each other. Now I just have to get Little Sis blogging, might need your help! Your right you will find blogging a great escape for yourself and it does motivate you to get out take photos, create, look at your home and family through different eyes and it makes you feel pleased about the small things. Have fun.
Welcome to the world of blogging, you will love it. For me it is an escape from the everyday life in a family to a whole world of new friends and people with similar interests. You will get out of the house more and more seeking bloggable material. Love to see more of my old neighbourhood. Love the Pohutakawa's, I have 4 in my yard here in Australia and they are madly flowering, the flying foxes fight over the best blossoms outside my bedroom windows at night. Tell us more about how you make soy candles please.
Have fun. Merry Christmas to you and your boys.
Fabulous Adrienne!!! Now I can catch up on what you and yours are doing every few days! Make sure that you're a regular blogger please! Lisa and I would love to see lots of NZ stuff as well as stuff about your "wee lads"!! Have fun doing it and we hope you guys have a great Christmas! Donna xxxxx
